About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Remote Childcare Consultant to provide expert advice and support to early years providers across the UK. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your extensive experience to guide settings on best practices, regulatory compliance, curriculum development, and operational efficiency. This is a unique opportunity for an independent thinker to shape childcare standards from afar, offering flexible working hours and impactful project-based engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote consultations with nurseries, childminders, and other early years providers to assess their current practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop bespoke strategies and action plans to enhance quality of care, educational outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on adherence to Ofsted standards (or relevant devolved nation bodies), the EYFS framework, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist clients in developing effective curricula, staff training programmes, and parent engagement strategies.
- Deliver virtual training sessions and workshops on various childcare-related topics.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on consultation findings.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
- Substantial experience in a senior management or leadership role within the early years sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UK childcare regulations, frameworks (e.g., EYFS), and inspection processes.
- Proven ability to provide strategic advice and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent remote communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and platforms.
