Remote Claims Investigator

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a motivated and independent Remote Claims Investigator to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into insurance claims, gathering evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and preparing detailed reports to support claim decisions. Your role is critical in ensuring the integrity and fairness of the claims process for our clients across Wales. You will operate autonomously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding the highest professional standards in insurance investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations into suspicious or complex insurance claims using various methods.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including policy documents, witness statements, and financial records.
• Conduct remote interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties via phone or video conferencing.
• Prepare detailed, objective, and well-documented investigation reports for review by claims handlers and management.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate findings according to established procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all data protection and privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in claims investigation , fraud detection, or a similar investigative role.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools and case management software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a caseload effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct clear and concise interviews remotely.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role in Cardiff .
