About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Remote Construction Planner to join their dynamic project delivery team. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK . You will be responsible for developing comprehensive and realistic construction schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and proactively identifying potential planning risks. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful and timely execution of major construction projects, contributing to the company's reputation for efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update detailed construction project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather accurate planning data and insights.
- Analyze project timelines, identify critical path activities, and forecast potential delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare and present planning reports, progress updates, and look-ahead schedules to stakeholders.
- Perform resource planning and allocation, ensuring efficient utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct risk assessments related to project scheduling and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler on large-scale projects.
- Proficiency with project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience with 4D BIM planning is highly desirable.
