Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive construction project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify critical path activities, potential risks, and resource constraints, proposing proactive solutions.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, highlighting schedule adherence, variances, and forecast completion dates.
- Facilitate planning meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Analyze project plans for constructability, resource availability, and cost implications.
- Maintain all planning documentation and ensure it is accessible to relevant parties.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler, with a strong portfolio of managed projects.
- Proficiency with project planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
- Deep understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote environment, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in risk analysis and mitigation related to project timelines.
- A degree or HND in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
