About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and organized Remote Logistics Dispatcher to manage the coordination of our delivery fleet from a remote location. This position is critical for ensuring timely and efficient deliveries across our service areas. You will be the primary point of contact for drivers, providing them with assignments, monitoring their progress, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during their routes. Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and assign delivery routes using specialized software and communication tools.
• Monitor driver performance and vehicle locations in real-time, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support throughout their shifts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues, such as delays or vehicle problems, promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, delivery confirmations, and driver logs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a similar role, preferably managing remote teams.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and communication platforms.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remain highly organized in a remote work setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
