Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to contribute to their innovative manufacturing operations, supporting teams near Southampton . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth remote analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Design and document new or improved manufacturing procedures, workflows, and equipment specifications.
• Lead virtual cross-functional teams in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Develop and manage process simulation models to evaluate the impact of proposed changes before implementation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency, output, and cost metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure the successful integration of new processes and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering , with a strong emphasis on optimization and improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen) and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software for layout design and simulation tools for process modeling.
• Excellent virtual communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
