About the Role
Our client is seeking a specialized and dedicated Remote Procurement Specialist with expertise in IT procurement . This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the UK, managing all aspects of sourcing and procuring IT hardware, software, and services. You will collaborate closely with IT departments and other business units to understand their technology needs, identify suitable vendors, negotiate favorable contracts, and ensure timely delivery and implementation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing IT spend and ensuring the company has access to the best technological solutions available in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all IT-related goods and services.
- Source, evaluate, and select vendors for hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and IT support.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements with IT suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with IT procurement policies, security standards, and budget constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, contracts, and vendor performance.
- Provide expert advice on IT sourcing strategies and market trends to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in IT procurement or sourcing , preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong understanding of the IT landscape, including hardware, software, cloud computing, and IT services.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing IT vendor contracts.
- Familiarity with procurement software and e-sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
