Remote Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to order fulfillment, for a diverse range of goods and services.
• Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and spend data.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on order status and delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance, recommending strategies to optimise costs and mitigate risks in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Procurement Specialist or similar purchasing role, with a strong understanding of procurement best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong remote working relationships.
• Proficiency in using procurement software, ERP systems, and common collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a self-directed work environment.
