Remote Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in the procurement system.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and evaluate them based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and contract information.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and expedite deliveries.
• Assist in tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
• Support procurement team members with ad-hoc requests and data analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a procurement, purchasing, or administrative role.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with procurement software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, vital for remote interaction.
