About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Production Scheduler to join their operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing efficient production schedules that meet demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times. Working from home, you will collaborate closely with production managers, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products. This is a key role for someone who excels at planning, communication, and thrives in a dynamic, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, material availability, and capacity constraints.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules and address any potential disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements for scheduling efficiency.
- Communicate schedule changes and potential delays effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Optimize schedules to balance production efficiency, cost, and customer delivery requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Scheduler , Planner, or in a similar operations role.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles and manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting .
