Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from various sports-related sources.
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze player performance, team strategies, and fan behaviour.
• Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sports data to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data insights into product development and user experience improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in sports analytics and data science.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and database querying (SQL).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of sports rules, strategies, and relevant performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
