Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native telecom solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate network provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of cloud-based network services.
- Collaborate with network and software engineering teams to integrate cloud services into existing infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud resources, troubleshoot issues, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices relevant to the telecoms industry .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on networking and telecommunications .
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, vital for a fully remote role, even if located near Oxford .
