Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring seamless integration.
• Monitor network health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to minimise downtime.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning to support growing demands.
• Troubleshoot complex network problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest telecom technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP , routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Familiarity with VoIP , MPLS, and wireless networking concepts is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, essential for success in a remote work environment .
