About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Remote Telecoms Network Architect to join their distributed team. This role is critical for designing the future of their telecommunications infrastructure from the ground up, focusing on scalability, resilience, and advanced capabilities. You will work remotely, collaborating virtually with engineering teams across different locations to define network strategies and translate business needs into robust technical blueprints. Key Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive telecom network architectures for future growth and new service offerings.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and methodologies to enhance network capabilities.
- Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for network evolution, including cloud integration and automation.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure architectural integrity during implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical leadership on complex design challenges.
- Ensure architectural adherence to security, performance, and reliability standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Architect within the telecommunications industry, with a strong portfolio of designed solutions.
- Deep understanding of SDN, NFV, 5G Core, IP networking , and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
- Excellent remote collaboration and virtual communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and presentations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
