About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Remote Telecoms Network Architect to design the future of their network infrastructure. You will be responsible for defining the high-level architecture and strategic direction of our client's telecommunications networks, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cutting-edge performance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall network architecture strategy, aligning with business goals and technological advancements.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions for core, edge, and access networks.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendors, providing recommendations for adoption.
• Create detailed technical designs and specifications for network implementations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of architectural designs.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship on complex network design challenges.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network architecture and design, specifically within the telecoms industry .
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and SDN.
• Experience with cloud networking and virtualization technologies (NFV, SDN).
• Strong understanding of mobile network technologies (4G/5G) and fixed-line access networks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage distributed teams effectively.
