Retail Stock Controller

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Retail Stock Controller to manage inventory for their store in Norwich . This critical role ensures that stock levels are accurate, well-managed, and effectively tracked, minimising losses and maximising product availability for customers. You will be responsible for all aspects of stock management, from receiving to dispatch, playing a key part in the store's operational efficiency in Norfolk .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and investigate any stock issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's stock management system.
• Implement stock control procedures to minimise shrinkage and waste.
• Ensure the stockroom is organised, clean, and safe for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure adequate stock levels for promotions and daily trading.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stock control, inventory management, or warehouse role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems.
