Senior 3D Modeler

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior 3D Modeler to join their creative team in Norwich . You will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, from characters and environments to props and vehicles, that bring our projects to life. This role is integral to producing visually stunning content within the Arts & Entertainment industry, requiring a blend of artistic talent and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed, high-polygon and low-polygon 3D models for use in real-time engines and cinematic productions.
• Develop realistic or stylized textures and materials using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate closely with art directors, concept artists, and technical artists to ensure models meet project requirements and artistic vision.
• Optimize 3D assets for performance and efficiency across various platforms.
• Retopologize models and create clean UV layouts.
• Stay updated on the latest 3D modeling techniques and software advancements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Modeler with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse modeling skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or ZBrush.
• Expertise in texture painting and material creation using software like Substance Painter or Quixel Mixer.
• Strong understanding of form, anatomy, proportion, and architectural principles.
• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
