About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their dynamic team in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced NLP models and algorithms (e.g., for sentiment analysis, entity recognition, machine translation, text summarization).
- Build and maintain robust NLP pipelines for data processing, feature extraction, and model training.
- Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate NLP capabilities into user-facing applications.
- Evaluate and experiment with state-of-the-art NLP techniques and libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK).
- Contribute to the research and development of novel approaches to address complex language understanding challenges.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field with an NLP focus.
- 5+ years of professional experience in NLP development and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with relevant NLP libraries and frameworks.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles and deep learning architectures for NLP (e.g., RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers).
- Experience with cloud platforms and deploying ML models in production environments.
