About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Airworthiness Inspector to join their regulatory compliance team in Bradford . This role is essential for ensuring that all aircraft operated by the company meet the stringent airworthiness standards set by aviation authorities. You will conduct detailed inspections, audits, and reviews of maintenance records and procedures. This is a critical position within the Yorkshire aviation industry , demanding a rigorous approach to safety and compliance, and offering the chance to significantly influence operational safety and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance facilities to verify compliance with airworthiness directives and regulations.
- Review and approve maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Investigate and report on non-compliance issues, developing and overseeing corrective action plans.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., CAA) on matters of airworthiness and certification.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant aviation legislation and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and a strong understanding of airworthiness principles.
- Holder of a recognised Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) licence or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in performing regulatory inspections and audits.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and applicable regulations.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex inspection schedules effectively.
