Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Technician with a specialization in diagnostics to join their busy workshop in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth diagnostic assessments on vehicles using state-of-the-art equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Interpret diagnostic data, technical manuals, and schematics to accurately pinpoint the root cause of vehicle issues.
- Conduct complex repair procedures, including engine management systems, transmission faults, and advanced electronic component failures.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician , with at least 3 years focused on diagnostics.
- Proficiency with a wide range of diagnostic tools and software specific to various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, engine management, and CAN bus networks.
- Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are essential.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic workshop setting.
