Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Claims Adjuster to join their established team in Aberdeen . You will play a key role in assessing liability, negotiating settlements, and providing expert guidance to policyholders and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate settlement of complex insurance claims, including property, casualty, and liability cases.
- Interpret policy wordings, determine coverage, and establish liability based on thorough investigation.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, legal representatives, and other involved parties to gather information and explain claim procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and settlement offers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications within the insurance sector are highly desirable.
