About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Claims Adjuster to join their reputable insurance team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves managing complex insurance claims from inception to settlement, ensuring fair and efficient resolution for both the policyholder and the company. You will play a crucial part in maintaining client satisfaction and upholding the integrity of the claims process. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate insurance claims, determining coverage and liability according to policy terms.
• Manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, witnesses, and legal counsel to gather information and explain claim decisions.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis and apply relevant insurance laws and regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for claims files, management, and potential litigation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters and support the claims department's objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster, with a strong track record in handling complex claims .
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, relevant legislation, and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent negotiation , communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Relevant professional certifications or qualifications in insurance are highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in Aberdeen .
