Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, verify, and assess the extent of liability and damages for complex insurance claims, including property, casualty, and liability.
- Conduct thorough reviews of policy coverage, documentation, and evidence to determine claim validity.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and legal representatives in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities, communications, and decisions within the claims management system.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior claims adjusters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure seamless claims processing and compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a minimum of 5 years handling complex claims.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, relevant laws, and claims investigation techniques.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in claims management software and standard office applications.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACII, CIP) are highly desirable.
