About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to join their reputable insurance team in Leicester . This pivotal role involves managing complex insurance claims from initial report to final settlement, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and efficiency. You will act as a key point of contact for policyholders, third-party representatives, and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate complex insurance claims, including liability assessment and damage quantification.
- Manage a caseload of diverse claims, ensuring timely progress and adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, legal counsel, and other involved parties to gather information and facilitate claim resolution.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and settlement offers, ensuring all claims files are accurate and up-to-date.
- Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to the team's knowledge base through sharing best practices and insights.
- Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate appropriately for further investigation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster , with a significant portion involving complex or high-value claims.
- Thorough understanding of insurance policies , relevant legislation, and claims handling procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance or claims management are highly desirable.
