About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Claims Adjuster to join their established team in Leicester . This pivotal role involves managing a portfolio of complex insurance claims, ensuring fair and efficient resolution for both the policyholder and the company. You will act as a primary point of contact for claimants, investigators, and legal counsel, providing expert guidance and maintaining accurate case documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
• Conduct thorough reviews of policy coverage, liability, and damages for assigned claims.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, witnesses, and relevant third parties to gather necessary information.
• Negotiate settlements within authorized limits and recommend appropriate claim dispositions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of claim activities, communications, and decisions within the claims management system.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role within the insurance industry.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, relevant legislation, and claims investigation procedures.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and standard office applications.
