About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Architect to lead significant projects within their dynamic practice based in Bristol . This role requires a blend of design leadership, project management acumen, and a thorough understanding of the commercial sector's unique demands, including retail, office, and mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for driving projects from inception through to completion, ensuring design excellence, commercial viability, and client satisfaction. This hybrid position allows for effective collaboration within the Bristol office while providing the flexibility of remote work, fostering a balanced and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of large-scale commercial architectural projects.
- Manage project teams, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Engage with clients, developers, and consultants to define project briefs and objectives.
- Ensure designs meet commercial requirements, planning regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Produce high-quality design proposals, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Oversee the coordination of consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with extensive experience in the commercial architecture sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial developments.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading design teams.
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural software.
- Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and communication skills.
