Senior Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Bristol . This position plays a crucial role in managing the company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk exposures. You will be involved in optimizing funding strategies, managing banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial markets, and the ability to contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization within a collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash positions, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to anticipate future funding requirements.
• Analyze and manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, implementing hedging strategies as appropriate.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new treasury technologies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations related to treasury activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualification such as ACT or CTP is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate treasury or a related finance function.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an office-based setting in Bristol .
