Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) to detect and respond to potential threats.

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively enhance the security posture.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of system design and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications are a strong plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role.
• Proven expertise in security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), and threat intelligence.
• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, and cryptography principles .
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and penetration testing methodologies .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
