Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead threat hunting activities and proactively identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Analyze security alerts from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) and conduct in-depth investigations.
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks and procedures to ensure effective containment and eradication.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and work with IT teams to prioritize and track remediation efforts.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of security monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts.

Requirements

• Substantial experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst , with a strong focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Expertise in analyzing security logs, network traffic, and malware behaviour.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, or GCIH are highly desirable.
