About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Energy Trader to join their dynamic trading team. Key Responsibilities

• Execute trades across physical and financial energy markets , including power, gas, and renewables.
• Develop and implement innovative trading strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
• Monitor market trends, news, and geopolitical events impacting energy prices.
• Conduct in-depth fundamental and technical analysis to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with risk management and back-office teams to ensure compliance and efficient settlement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy trading or a related financial markets role.
• Proven track record of successful trading in volatile energy markets.
• Strong understanding of energy market structures , regulations, and derivatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and trading platforms.
• Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
