About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Field Operations Engineer to join their expanding team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role supports various field operations within the Oil & Gas industry , focusing on optimizing production, ensuring asset integrity, and managing operational challenges from a distance. You will leverage your technical expertise to provide remote guidance and support to site teams, contributing to the efficient and safe running of operations across multiple locations. This position offers the distinct advantage of working from home, providing flexibility while making a significant impact on critical field activities from Portsmouth or any UK location.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and guidance to field operations teams.
• Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance, inspection, and turnaround activities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in field operations engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong understanding of production systems, equipment, and operational best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills, comfortable working autonomously from home, with experience supporting operations near Portsmouth or similar environments.
