About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Field Operations Engineer to join their expanding team focused on renewable energy projects in Norwich . This hands-on role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of renewable energy assets, such as wind farms or solar installations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of these facilities, managing technical teams, and implementing strategies for optimal energy production. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the operational activities of renewable energy sites, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies for key equipment.
• Oversee the performance monitoring and diagnostics of renewable energy assets.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in field operations or maintenance, preferably within the renewable energy sector .
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, solar PV systems, or other relevant renewable energy systems.
• Proven experience in operations management , safety procedures, and performance analysis.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a field-based environment and manage remote teams.
