About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage geological models and reports for potential mining sites, assessing risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and environmental teams to ensure safe and sustainable mining practices.
- Provide expert geological advice to senior management, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior geologists and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in geological exploration, specifically within the mining sector .
- Proven expertise in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan) and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience in field exploration, core logging, and sample analysis.
- Strong understanding of relevant UK mining regulations and environmental compliance.
- Excellent report-writing, presentation, and communication skills.
