Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the real-time operation of the electricity transmission and distribution network.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to ensure grid stability and security.
- Respond effectively to grid disturbances, faults, and emergencies, coordinating restoration efforts.
- Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with system planners and other stakeholders to integrate new generation and demand resources.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems operations or grid control.

- Experience with grid simulation and analysis tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with UK and Irish grid codes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
