Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their dedicated HR team in Plymouth . In this role, you will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of complex HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and organisational change. You will work closely with line managers to implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and support business objectives within the Devon region. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of UK employment law and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
• Support managers in implementing organisational change initiatives, ensuring fair and legally compliant processes.
• Develop and deliver HR training to managers and employees on key HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and projects.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK employment law and company policies.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar senior HR role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
