About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead Operations Strategy initiatives for their facilities in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize overall operational performance, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions.
- Lead the analysis of complex operational data to identify key trends, opportunities, and strategic imperatives for improvement.
- Design and oversee the implementation of major process improvements, new technologies, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set operational goals, align strategies with business objectives, and ensure efficient resource deployment.
- Mentor and guide a team of industrial engineers, fostering a high-performance culture and technical development.
- Drive the adoption of advanced methodologies such as Digital Transformation , Industry 4.0 principles, and predictive analytics within operations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a significant focus on operational strategy and large-scale project management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic operational improvements in complex manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in data analytics, process modeling, simulation, and strategic planning tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
