About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Supply Chain Optimization to join their fully remote team. This strategic role will focus on analyzing, redesigning, and implementing improvements across the entire supply chain network to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques, modeling tools, and a deep understanding of logistics and operations to drive significant business impact from a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations , identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies for network design, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
- Utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to forecast demand, optimize resource allocation, and test strategic scenarios.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, manufacturing, sales) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to streamline processes.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams on projects focused on cost reduction, lead time improvement, and service level enhancement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Research, Logistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or operations analysis.
- Proven expertise in supply chain modeling , network optimization, and inventory management techniques.
- Proficiency with relevant software such as LLamas, AnyLogic, or similar advanced analytical and simulation tools.
- Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects and influence stakeholders in a remote setting.
