About the Role
Our client, a leading firm in the industrial sector , is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes , identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement new manufacturing systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain process documentation , standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and management, to implement solutions.
- Monitor the performance of implemented systems, ensuring they meet design specifications and operational targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within manufacturing.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with CAD software and factory layout design is advantageous.
