About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production systems and processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Design and implement new workflows, layouts, and production systems to optimize resource utilization and throughput.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness and identify trends.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures and benchmarks for productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and management, to implement process changes and ensure successful adoption.
- Lead projects focused on lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with process analysis tools, simulation software, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant CAD or modeling software is advantageous.
