About the Role

Our client is searching for a dedicated and skilled Senior Massage Therapist to become a valued member of their wellness centre located in Southampton . You will provide a comprehensive range of therapeutic massage services, catering to diverse client needs from relaxation to deep tissue and sports recovery. This position requires a therapist with excellent palpation skills, a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care and contributing to the overall well-being of patrons in Southampton .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their health history, physical condition, and specific therapeutic goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to address client needs and promote recovery and relaxation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatments and progress.
• Ensure the treatment room is clean, organized, and prepared for each client session.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage and provide recommendations for self-care.
• Adhere to all professional and ethical standards of practice.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited massage therapy program.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client caseload effectively.
