This role involves providing a diverse range of therapeutic massage treatments, from deep tissue to relaxation techniques, catering to clients with varied needs and preferences. You will also play a role in guiding junior therapists, contributing to treatment protocols, and ensuring an outstanding client experience that promotes wellbeing and recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of advanced massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their medical history, specific needs, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client concerns and promote recovery.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide advice on self-care and stretching exercises.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, documenting treatments and progress.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior massage therapists, sharing best practices and techniques.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification from an accredited massage therapy school.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
