Senior Massage Therapist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Massage Therapist to join their established wellness centre in Leeds . This role involves providing a wide range of therapeutic massage services to a discerning clientele, as well as contributing to the training and mentoring of junior therapists. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports massage, and Swedish massage, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their physical condition and recommend appropriate massage treatments.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Ensure the treatment rooms are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide clients with advice on stretching, posture, and exercises to support their recovery and well-being.
• Assist in the training and development of junior massage therapists, sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements

• Certified Massage Therapist with recognized qualifications (e.g., ITEC, VTCT).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in delivering various massage therapies.
• Proficiency in deep tissue massage , sports massage, and other specialized modalities.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere.
