Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems from concept to production.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and vibration assessments using simulation tools.
• Create and maintain precise engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Oversee prototype testing, validation, and performance verification.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the design team.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and FEA analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Commitment to working on-site in our Plymouth facility.
