Senior Network Security Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization's network.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, performing forensic analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies, utilizing SIEM tools and other security monitoring solutions.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, recommending improvements to security strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering , with a strong focus on enterprise networks.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, network architecture, and common vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with various security tools and technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Splunk).
• Experience with cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
