About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their innovative team in Belfast . This role is central to optimizing hydrocarbon production and maximizing reservoir value throughout the asset lifecycle. You will apply sophisticated engineering principles and analytical techniques to production challenges, contributing to strategic field development and operational efficiency within the Oil & Gas sector . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production optimization strategies , including artificial lift system design and analysis.
- Conduct reservoir performance analysis, including nodal analysis and material balance.
- Evaluate and recommend enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects and technologies.
- Prepare production forecasts, economic evaluations, and technical reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and operations teams to ensure integrated asset management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in petroleum engineering , with a focus on production and reservoir management in the Oil & Gas industry .
- Proficiency in production software, reservoir simulation, and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, fluid flow, and completion technologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience in a hybrid work setting in Belfast .
