Senior Petroleum Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Petroleum Engineer to join their innovative team in Belfast . This role is central to optimizing hydrocarbon production and maximizing reservoir value throughout the asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production optimization strategies , including artificial lift system design and analysis.
• Conduct reservoir performance analysis, including nodal analysis and material balance.
• Evaluate and recommend enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects and technologies.
• Prepare production forecasts, economic evaluations, and technical reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and operations teams to ensure integrated asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in petroleum engineering , with a focus on production and reservoir management in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Proficiency in production software, reservoir simulation, and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, fluid flow, and completion technologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience in a hybrid work setting in Belfast .
