About the Role
Our client, a leading entity in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using various laboratory techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectroscopy).
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods according to ICH guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Investigate and document Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, deviations, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration, qualification, and routine performance checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Review and approve laboratory data, batch records, and analytical reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Contribute to internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to quality control processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control or analytical development role.
- Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation and method validation principles.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
