Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from diverse sporting events and platforms.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify trends, predict outcomes, and assess player/team performance.
• Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate complex findings to stakeholders, including coaches, management, and marketing teams.
• Collaborate remotely with product managers and engineers to integrate data insights into product development and strategic planning.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sports analytics , data science techniques, and relevant technologies.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to privacy standards throughout all analytical processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar quantitative role, preferably within the sports industry.
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, machine learning techniques , and experimental design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
