About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Process Engineer to join their dynamic team within the thriving London energy sector. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of chemical and physical processes for energy generation and distribution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical reviews, and process simulations to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE ).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, operations staff, and R&D specialists, to deliver on project objectives.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, develop corrective action plans, and implement solutions to enhance plant performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in process engineering, preferably within the energy industry .
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of process control systems, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
