About the Role
Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation based in London , is seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager to lead their procurement operations. You will be instrumental in shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize spend and supplier performance.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role, ideally within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and managing significant supplier contracts.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost modelling and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPS) is highly desirable.
