About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Real Estate Valuer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves conducting comprehensive property valuations for a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential assets across the region. You will be instrumental in providing accurate market insights and valuation reports that support critical investment and lending decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the local property market dynamics and a proven track record of delivering high-quality valuation services within a professional environment, contributing significantly to the firm's reputation for excellence in Aberdeen's property sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough property inspections and market research to determine accurate property valuations.
- Prepare detailed and professional valuation reports for various purposes, including financial reporting, loan security, and acquisition/disposal advice.
- Provide expert advice on market trends , property values, and investment opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other property professionals to gather necessary information and present findings.
- Mentor and guide junior valuers, fostering a culture of learning and development within the valuation team.
- Ensure all valuations are conducted in accordance with relevant professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- RICS or equivalent professional qualification in Valuation and Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in commercial and residential property valuation .
- In-depth knowledge of the Aberdeen property market and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in valuation software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- A full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
